Kate Roskell
Kate Roskell grew up reading stories filled with mystery and romance, and has never quite stopped. By day she works as a researcher in health; by night, when the hours allow, she writes. Long walks are essential to both — the place where problems untangle and ideas find their shape. She lives in Australia with her husband and has two adult children. Her debut series, The Bresford Legacy, follows a Welsh mining dynasty from the slate quarries of 1851 to the boardrooms of modern Denver, where the past refuses to stay buried. Drawing on the traditions of Kate Morton and Lucinda Riley, it moves between atmospheric historical fiction and contemporary intrigue, finding its own voice in the deep silences between generations.
